6/24/2023 0 Comments Cna on the job trainingI am a bachelor of science in nursing degree holder and I live in California. I am a graduate of a nursing program from the Philippines. I want to start taking CNA classes as soon as possible. I do not have my GED but I am working on getting it. I would like to know, who at your college teaches CNA programs and are you accredited for the nursing including the CNA program? I am interested in registering for the CNA program at your facility. Could you tell me how long the CNA program is, how much does it cost, and if you do job placements? I moved to Arizona from Minnesota and I am looking to go back to school in the health care field. The cost of an accelerated nurse assistant training course is usually similar to that of traditional programs. If you are currently employed and wish to keep your job, this type of program may conflict with your current schedule. For example, even though an accelerated CNA course may take only two weeks to complete, students must attend classes five days per week, for approximately six hours each day. To cover the program curriculum in a short period of time, daily attendance may be necessary. You should expect a very fast pace in both the classroom and the clinical setting. Students who are quick learners and have good study habits do very well in these type of programs. The obvious advantage is that it takes a shorter amount of time to complete an accelerated nurse aide course than a traditional program. What is your advice regarding accelerated CNA programs? Is an accelerated CNA training course as good as a traditional one?Īccelerated CNA programs have their benefits when compared to traditional courses.
